When considering the sale of unwanted jewellery, you can expect the following:

Personal Service – You will deal directly with me, Mark Willetts, the shop owner. I have over 27 years of experience in the jewellery trade.
Transparency and Care – Before we discuss any purchase, I always take a moment to say the following:

Please think carefully before selling your jewellery. If in doubt don't sell. If you have any doubts at all, please do not sell. There is no obligation to proceed, and equally, I may decide not to buy — not because your items lack value, but because they may not be suitable for my stock at that time.

You are welcome to take as much time as you need — a day, a week, or longer — before making a decision. Once items are sold, the sale is final and cannot be reversed. There is no cooling-off period.

If you have any questions, please ask freely. I prefer that you have all the information you need before selling. If you wish to know what I would sell the items for, I will tell you openly — nothing is kept secret.

Should you decide to sell, I will always confirm at least once more that you are absolutely certain you wish to proceed.

I will never ask why you are selling. That is entirely your private matter.
Assessment – I will assess your items carefully and offer a fair price based on their value and what I believe I can do with them.
Immediate Payment – You may choose between cash or BACS transfer (direct to your bank account) at the time of sale, subject to available funds.
Final Confirmation – Before any payment is made, I will ask once again if you are sure you wish to sell.
Completion – If the offer is accepted, the transaction will be completed there and then.
Security and Respect – You will never be asked to leave your items in the shop, nor will they be taken out of your sight at any time. You remain with your jewellery throughout the entire process.

Please be assured that you are under no obligation whatsoever to sell. Should you decide not to proceed, there are no costs or fees incurred.
